As a lay leader at my synagogue, Congregation Bet Haverim (CBH), I frequently lead or co-lead religious services (tefillah). I have also led High Holiday services for our youth for 12 years. And, as one of a team of lay leaders, I also lead a daily on-line minyan called 'Mindful Moments'.

For two years I was Undergraduate Activity Director for San Francisco Hillel. Before that, being president of a student Zionist group at S.F. State University led me to live in Israel for a year. Since then I've taught Hebrew calligraphy and paper cut art. I've also written and recorded original Jewish chants and songs.
